Salena GoddenSalena Godden is a legend on the live poetry scene. She is the lyricist and lead singer of underground eclectic ska-break band SaltPeter whose last record was listed as one of the outstanding albums of 2007 by The Independent. As “The General” of The Book Club Boutique Salena Godden has dragged the literary salon back to it’s gloriously pissed-up Soho basement roots, where she fronts house band alongside Max Doray. Her work has been anthologised by Penguin, Hodder and Canongate as well as countless zines and pamphlets. She is a regular poet on Radio 4’s Saturday Live. |
