Nasty Little Press has been scouring the country to find the finest new voices in poetry. Nasty Little Intros are limited editions offering a taste of a glittering career to come. The perfect accompaniment to train journey or long hot bath.
Over the next two years Nasty Little Press will publish 10 Intros. Copies of these Intros will be sent to literature and live lit industry figures and Nasty Little Press will help the authors to get bookings for readings/performances. Intro authors will be mentored through the editing process with a view to publishing a longer collection of poems in the future.

NASTY LITTLE INTRO #6
HATTIE GRUNEWALD
Hattie Grünewald wrote her first book, Naughty Teddy, at the tender age of 4, and since then her career has gone from strength to strength. She was Foyle Young Poet of the Year in 2009, and has had her work published in The Independent, YM and Myths of the Near Future. In Autumn 2010 one of her poems was published on London Underground trains as part of the Young Poets on the Underground scheme. She is twenty years old and is currently studying English and Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. In her spare time she watches cooking shows, dresses as a giant boob for charity and runs the UEA Feminist Society, as incompatible as these activites may seem.

Hannah Jane Walker is a talkative person confused about whether she is from Cambridge or Essex, who can make a room a nest and has the handwriting of an C18th gentleman. She studied literature at UEA and an MA in Newcastle. She works as a poet, theatre maker and visual artist and has performed at festivals and residencies such as Latitude, Shunt and Forest Fringe. around. Having taken her first show ‘This is just to say’ an interactive show about apology, to Edinburgh 2010 she is now working on a second show ‘The O Fuck Moment’, a two hander with theatre maker Chris Thorpe about mistake culture. Total Theatre say ‘her writing is muscular and lush, tinged with a lightly bitter edge. The emotions she feels are acutely illustrated with the clarity and pitch that allows you to connect to your own.’
